Today, we're excited to share an inspiring story of innovation and social impact. Meet Nora Norton, the visionary behind The Nori Project, a venture that's bringing fresh, nutritious food to underserved communities through high-tech vending machines.

From Projects to Progress

Growing up in Bales, Kentucky, Nora experienced food insecurity firsthand. This challenging start fueled her determination to make a difference. After a detour through law school and a transformative experience in Japan, Nora found her true calling at a UofL Innovation Weekend event.

Inspired by Japan's ubiquitous fresh food vending machines, Nora aims to replicate this model in American food deserts. The Nori Project's mission? To provide affordable, nutritious, and culturally relevant food options where they're needed most.

What Makes Nori Special?
